This morning we drove Grandma to the Dr. to get her splint off and cast on. After we dropped her off, the boys and I were trying to guess what color she would choose. Aiden thought she would get rainbow...I was hoping for glow in the dark (had one of those back in college). She picked sky blue, which got some interesting looks from Jude while we were running errands afterwards. Which by the way included going through the carwash. Very exciting for Aiden...but brougt ol' Jude bear to tears even when we tried to get him excited about the bubbles on the car and compared it to a bath.
While Grandma was at the Dr, I had her water vacuum to return. So we drove over to the new house where Aiden had to check to see if Grandma and Grandpa had frogs in their little pond. He was of course ahead of Jude and I, and yelled out, "Mom! Tadpoles!" "Nooooo," I replied "There are no tadpoles."
But the little guy was right! At least 500 tadpoles right, and got the opportunity to tell me that he told me so...which he is quite fond of saying here of late. We spent a good 45 minutes checking out the little "fishies" as Jude calls them, and talking about how tadpoles will grow legs and turn into frogs.
We also made our "school lesson" about tadpoles this afternoon. Printing off our photo from this morning, doing a little Internet search for all of the different froggy stages and then drawing a picture of the tadpoles in the pond. "With rocks Mom...that look kind of like little bumps." We also practiced a few more of our "A's" which are looking pretty good!

The photo-opp was hard to resist...everything was just so pretty!
These last photos are of Aiden and his Truth Trackers class. Last Wednesday was the final day for Truth Trackers. They put on a little show for the parents with each of the age groups doing something a little different. Aiden's class sat up front and listened to one last puppet show, and they each got ribbons of participation. Aiden is the shortest one in his class (he gets that from his Mom) ,but in my opinion he's also the cutest!
