Our Summer trip to Colorado

We DID make it out to Colorado to visit all of our loved ones!
That is quite a crew with Grandma below!
It gets a bit chaotic with four kiddos, all of which are still a bit dependent on their schedules and routines, but we made it work and had a wonderful time hanging out and romping around Denver.
We got to visit both the aquarium and zoo when we were out there.  The boys were pretty amazed!

Here is Aiden in one of the viewing bubbles under a fish tank.  So...the shot is a little blurry because it's taken through water!  :)  Both boys thought his was pretty cool.  Jude was not too crazy about the aquarium.  I think it was a bit claustrophobic with all of the tanks around us and sounds bouncing around....
...but the tiger in the middle of the aquarium was pretty fun to see.  That's what he's checking out in the picture below...the tiger...not Mommy's camera.  Ahem.  Rosie got to join us on our adventures as well, and we got to see all of her new hangouts now that she's finished her master's degree!  One other cool thing at the aquarium was that we got to pet stingrays.  Yes, I said PET Stingrays!!  Those are the fish that have big swirly fins on their sides and skinny tails.  And honestly, they had quite the personalities.  They swam in a pool of shallow water, and would come around and lift their fin up out of the water to be petted.  One even got his kicks out of splashing the kids.  Bet you didn't know stingrays had little personalities...and that you could pet them.  It was fun!
Here's Jude getting steeped on by Diago...he, he.
And little Navi...who kept up as long as she could.  Sweet little punkin'.
Wes got to visit a restaurant from the food network show "Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives" which he was pretty excited about.  We took our food to a nearby park and enjoyed!
The boys got in as much time as possible hanging out with cousin Wyatt in his new sandbox,
and we celebrated this little turkey turning 3!  :)  He got a dinosaur cake which as you can see he was especially thrilled with.  Right now birthdays equals cake for this little guy.  He likes the presents and perhaps a little of the attention...but cake is for sure the important part!
