He's in Kindergarden

School started for my little kindergartner...actually it started quite a while ago and I'm just now getting to this post!  As I'm writing this, I can just hear the grandma's saying, "um-huh" in the back of my head..."get moving on these blog posts girl."   You'd think that life at home would get a little less hectic with one of your kids in school a full day, but it seems to be the complete opposite.  Life gets busier...I don't know how, but it does.  And we're ready for it...that is...we are now after a month or two of adjusting!  :)  So here is our little guy Aiden on his first day of school.  It rained that first morning so we didn't get the opportunity to walk him to school that first day.  Instead we all took the car and I walked him inside to his classroom.
Here we are by his classroom door...he's looking at his new teacher Mrs. Leapold as I'm taking the picture.  And I did not cry when I dropped him off.  Ur..ah...hmmmm....that's  a lie.  Ahem.  Changing subject now.  :)   We have a Mount Vernon Mustang with maroon and white school colors...now until he graduates from high school.
Go Mustangs!

A few weeks after school started there was an open house...and a very large group of parents and kiddos explored the classrooms and hallways of Washington Elementary.  Jude liked seeing Aiden's classroom.  This picture below is where the teacher normally sits...and you can see the corner of the rug where all of the kiddos gather.
Aiden showing his brother a few things around the room.
Jude trying to pull out all of the toys!
And Mr. Aiden sitting at his desk...so we can all picture where he is during the day.
 Cute curls peaking out. :)
This is Aiden's hook where he hangs up his coat and back pack.
And standing in the library.  The kids rotate special activities every day.  Library, PE, Music, Art.
And here is the official Kindergarten school picture.
 Great Smile!!
Grandma caught a great smile on Jude Bear as well that had to be shared as well.  :)
