Memorial Day weekend this year was all about the fishing. This was the first time we've taken the boys and they both took to it in their own unique ways.
Feel the excitement in the car as we load up the poles and buy the worms?
Aiden took to fishing like an old pro. Just loved it...absolutely loved it and just couldn't wait to catch his first fish.
And he wasn't too bad at catching them either. In fact he caught all of the fish that weekend...I think it was 5 total!
Jude took to another side of fishing...well, let's say he just took to the worms. We dubbed him the official "worm guy," and whenever Daddy needed a worm for the hook, Jude would find the winner.
He even threw a few in the water...just to be a nice guy. :)
Emptying the worm container, transferring worms from one container to the other, talking about worms, carrying the worms around...yes, Jude was our worm guy!
And we all had fun bonding together!
