Christmas in LeMars was a bit of an adventure this year...a snow adventure to be a little more exact. And instead of driving away from the eye of the storm, I'm pretty sure we drove right to it and parked ourselves there for our Christmas holiday. It snowed, and it snowed...and it blowed and then it snowed again until we had somewhere around 18 inches. It was a winter wonderland. Thank goodness Santa drives a sled though and old Rudolph has that shiny nose to get through the storm, because Grandma had presents waiting at her house for two very excited boys on Christmas day. This was truly the year that Aiden was excited for Santa to come, we've only been talking about it for the past 5 weeks or so.
And Aiden wasn't disappointed, there were piles of presents to be opened and played with. Jude even got in on some opening too...if he was quick enough...and didn't have his brother standing next to him offering him "help". It was a fun time with family, a chance to hang out, talk, eat, play cards...and shovel. :)
