The long awaited tiling of the bathroom is finally finished. We can now take a shower again in the mornings which I can't even tell you how much I have missed!!
We spent last week at Mom and Dad's while the work was being done. Since this is our only bathroom, and I'm pretty sure it would have just about killed Aiden to have somebody working upstairs and not be allowed to be right there next to him. When the estimate was done, Wes and the tile guy were measuring and discussing how things would be laid out. Aiden, who was suppose to be in bed couldn't resist digging out his own tape measure and contributing as much as he could to the conversation. Yes we hired it done, can you believe it?!?!
And it turned out so very pretty. Like having our own little spa. I even broke out my fun shampoo which I have been squirrelling until I had a "pretty" place to use it. The kitchen sink just didn't seem deserving of the cool shampoo. :) There is more trim work to be finished this coming weekend. The base board around the toilet was finished so that the toilet could be reconnected. It gives us a nice feel for how the rest of the room will look.
New floor mats from Target too...still in search for the perfect shower curtain. Pictures for the wall and curtains to come very soon as well!!
