This year we traveled West to LeMars for Thanksgiving. On Thanksgiving day we got to see most of Wes's Aunts, Uncles and Cousins at Grandpa Terry's. Aiden got his first prizes from the kids carnival in the basement and Jude had his big introduction into the family. We ate a bunch and then got to come home and "play toys." This was probably Aiden's favorite part of the weekend. He loves to bring all of his Dad's old toys downstairs to the living room and just play like crazy. You can see below....the whole living room is full of toys!!
While Aiden had fun with toys, Jude bear hung out with Grandpa. He slept in Grandpa Terry's arm for over two hours!! It must have been a nice cozy spot. :)
When Jude woke up, even he couldn't resist getting involved in some of the toy action.
Aiden went over to the neighbors to ring the bell on their train in the front yard.
And of course there was fun to be had with Aunt Annie!!
And even though the boys got sick and we had to cut our trip short, it was a fun time again in LeMars.
