The first week was rough!!

The first week that Jude was home was not exactly easy. Not that we were expecting it to be easy...but neither were we expecting it to be quite so hard!! Monday night, our bigger little man got the stomach flu. That night he was up several times and lost everything in his little stomach. So not only were we up 3-4 times with feeding Jude...we were also up with Aiden. He was sick to his stomach for the next several days, finally feeling better on Thursday. Friday afternoon was the start of my turn to get the yuckies and Wes followed suit Friday night. Grandma Barb came to the rescue Saturday morning. I'm not sure we would have made it through the day without her. She hung out until Aiden was down for his afternoon nap, giving Mom and Dad a chance to sleep in the morning. Sunday we were still not feeling great, but made an effort to start being "normal" and worked our way up to taking a ride late that afternoon for some fresh air.
Last night one of the ladies from church brought dinner to us, and for the first time in quite a while we sat down at the table and ate dinner together. How fun was that!! :)
Today we're doing great and trying to get into something of a routine. A rough interpretation of routine anyway. :) Jude was up to 8lbs 2oz yesterday at his Dr.'s apt...gaining an oz a day!! What a big boy!! :)
