Talkin' about the combines....

This past weekend we traveled back to Corning for Grandma Cosaert's auction (take two). It was a great weekend and a good sale. It sounds like Grandma made a little more than what she was hoping for with the sales, and hopefully this week the sale on the house will be final. So all of these little worries are taking care of themselves, which is just wonderful for her. Little man had a great time at the auction too and latched onto a couple of his second cousins (Samantha and Madison). The girls blew their bubbles which he chased around and stompped on the ground, and they spent countless hours running back and forth across the low-boy trailer. By the end of the day little man was way past worn out. Uncle Randy brought Aiden a cookie as we were leaving town. The chocolate chips melted almost instantly in the hot hot car, and when we stopped at the Casey's for water and gas he had chocolate all over him. "Aiden," I said, "You have chocolate all over you."
"NO." he replied very firmly, "Have Uncle Randy cookie over me." I couldn't argue with that, now could I? :)
The big thrill of the weekend was Great Grandma's two combines. This little boy loves the farm!!
