I have a few photos of Aiden from the past week that I will get off of my camera and posted soon. But in the meantime I thought I would share a photo that Dad emailed me today. This is a road that most of you know and have been on lots of times. It's Hwy 1 - the road that goes from Solon to Mt. Vernon. (the road that Mom takes 3 days a week to come up to watch Aiden). The picture is looking south and just ahead there you see two buildings that are right next to the bridge...just beyond that is the pumpkin farm. You would think that it would be the bridges that would get washed away with all of the water....
Wes just called a little bit ago. Today (Monday 16th) OPN is setting up a temporary office in Hiawatha. It sounds like they may be there for 4 months!! I don't believe anybody has been into the old office yet...sounds like may-be tomorrow or the next day they might be able to get in to see how bad the damage is.Below are some links of flood photos I found on the web:
