Thanksgiving in Colorado

Corrinn and Ankur hosted an absolutely wonderful Thanksgiving, complete with turkey, roast beef, noodles, stuffing, mashed potatoes, 3 layer salad, pumpkin pie, pecan pie...and the list goes on. It was absolutely delicious!! And to top it off Grandma, Aunt Carol and Estee hopped a plan and hung out with us for the day.
A lot of preparation went into the meal, including an Apple Cider brine. That's the turkey soaking in cider in that big orange bucket!!
Jude's favorite spot was with the dogs, where else. :)
Aiden loved just being with the whole family. (Notice Mr. Wyatt fits into the smallest size of our "grandpa" pin stripe bibs - Corrinn and my favorite kiddo outfit of all time.)
The day after Thanksgiving we had absolutely perfect 70 degree weather, perfect for a day at the zoo. Jude was so extremely excited about all of the animals. Every time he would see something new his whole body would shake and he desperately wanted to reach out and touch all of them. I think he would have jumped the fences if we would have let him go!! Notice below he's trying to climb the little wall!!

One of our cute moments of the day was when Jude wanted to do some walking of his own.
So Aiden held his hand .
