I forgot to post this photo of Wes and Terry at the Iowa Football game last weekend. Box seats - not too shabby!!
And I've been reminded that I haven't posted photos of Aiden's room. I think I was originally going to take photos after I got curtains made, but we kind of changed our mind about curtains...and then photos were never taken. We painted a toy box that belonged to Wes when he was little, bought some fun carpet tiles for the floor and a new chair. The finishing touch though belongs to Annie. She found the perfect wall stickers, which Wes and I (equipped with the Internet) were not able to do. Now I think an orange quilt is in order...although the favorite Lightning McQueen blanket will probably do for a while yet. :)
Here is big boy Aiden all ready at 8:00 am to head to LeMars this weekend. The boys are going to do a little hanging out up North while Wes and I work on the upcoming work deadline. When I told Aiden that we needed to get him packed this morning, he pulled down his back pack right away and started instructing me on what we needed to put in. The list included vitamins, toothbrush, a favorite sweatshirt among other things.
He tried to stuff the Lightning McQueen blanket in too. With all this kiddo wants to pack, I'm thinking he's going to need one of those mountain climbing packs with all of the expanding compartments for kindergarten someday.
