Orange City Tulip Festival

We were on the other side of the state this past weekend to see the Orange City Tulip Festival. It was a great weekend for it...a little chilly, but the sun was out and so were the tulips. :)

I ordered 75 of the pink color behind the boys...actually, it might be a bit less hot pink and more towards the corally side. That's in addition to the 150+ bulbs (little purple cuties) I've already ordered out of the catalog this spring. I'm probably going to be kicking myself this fall when all of these flowers arrive and I have to get them in the ground!!

Here is Mr. Aiden at the fair. He wanted to ride all of the rides that he saw, assuring me that it would be fun. We settled for the jumping balloon instead, which was tons of fun...of course.

Saturday morning was a community garage sale at one of the buildings at the LeMars Fair grounds. Annie had a booth and got rid of a bunch of things...she also "scored" a few things too. This score got to stay at Grandma Mary's house. :) Actually, I'm giving her too much grief...it's a super cool drum set and Aiden had lots of fun making his own beat.
