The Christmas Post

You have all waited patiently for the Christmas post. (or at least most of you...ahem....Corrinn) Our family has been a bit disorganized since coming back from Christmas and New Years. Cleaning to do, new Christmas presents to find homes for, decorations to take down and transitioning back into our regular routines...it all takes time. And this year a bit more time now that we have 2 boys!! :) What a fun Christmas this year though because of our new little addition. This year more than years past I realized that this season is truely for the kids. For Wes and I we had our first opportunity to set out snacks for Santa and the reindeer. When we asked what Aiden wanted to leave out for Santa he told us soup. And so Santa got soup this year, along with candy and carrots for the reindeer. The next morning Aiden was awe struck when he saw that the soup was gone and carrots half crunched. (thank-you Blue) :) Present opening was so much more fun this year as well, of course Aiden wanted to do all of the present opening!!
Aiden's new forklift drove all over the kitchen floor.
Blue got lots of love and attention....
...from both boys. I love this photo below. Blue's face seems to be saying, "It's OK kid. I understand the drool, although usually I'm not on the receiving end of it." :)
And new curtains were maid for Corrinn and Ankur's house.
New Years was our second Christmas, Christmas in Le Mars. Our first Christmas at Grandpa Terry's house!! Of course there were pile of presents to be opened and enjoyed!!
Jude got his own set of tools. I think that's a look of awe on his face!!
Aiden cleaned up at the dice game. Real money was involved and he was quite the high roller!! Check out that stuffed sock!!. May-be we'll take him to Vegas one of these days. :)
Making cookies with Grandpa.

And to finish it off a picture of my boys, the little ones with the ornaments that they made this year. It was a wonderful Christmas everyone, thank-you for making it so special for all of us!!
