Aiden stories

Yesterday, my little Aiden was busy washing his cars. "Cars dirty Mom. Need to wash them." "OK," I told him. "Push your sleeves up." Jude and I were on the couch and I could hear Aiden drag his stool over to the sink and turn the faucet on. After a while of hearing the water running I thought I should give him a little check. This is how I found him, busy washing cars (and Mom's dishes). :) I'll be hard pressed to find him doing this in about 10 years!!

Aiden spent Thursday night at Grandma and Grandpa's, because it was all he could talk about for weeks. "Want to stay the night at Grandma's" he would tell me. So he went home with Grandma Thursday night and I brought Jude down early Friday morning so that she could watch the two of them while I worked. Aiden was a good big brother while at Grandma's. Jude was fussing a bit while Grandma was changing his diaper. It was time for a bottle and Jude was telling Grandma to hurry up in his own manner. :) Aiden, hearing his brother crying said, "Needs binky" and took off running at full Aiden speed for the kitchen yelling "Aiden to the rescue!" He's also been educating his brother about various things. I was getting ready in the bathroom with Jude sitting in his papasan. Aiden came in and went over to his brother talking to him and making faces. After a bit I heard him say "That's Mom, Jude," pointing at me. That will make a Mama smile. :) Stories about Jude? Nothing quite as exciting as washing cars and rescuing brothers in distress, but we've been getting lots of grins and smiles. Our big accomplishment was sleeping through the night last night! Crossing our fingers that he keeps it up!!
