It was a big work weekend at our house. Everybody came over: Annie, Frank, Mary, Terry, Mom and Dad...so we had quite the crew, and we got a lot done. I haven't posted any bathroom pictures yet, and of course I wish now that I had taken more up to this point. The bathroom is almost ready for paint...the walls first need to be sanded and there are a few more spots that need a little more drywall mud...but all of the drywall is finished and electrical outlets placed and ready to be wired in. It's really getting close!

We opened the cabinets that have been sitting in boxes in our living room. The dark cabinets we ordered from Lowes and the white medicine cabinets are from Restoration Hardware. They look beautiful together!! I can't wait to see them upstairs!!

We also started remodeling the old sewing room into Aiden's new "big boy" room. The walls are two shades of blue, and I am going to make several stencils on the computer of cars/trucks to paint up around the top in the same darker blue color. Curtains and bedspread are going to have orange accents in them. So it should be a pretty cool room for little man when it's all finished!!

Here's a before shot of the wood floor. The carpet pad left stickey stuff on the wood...but it should sand up and finish to look just as nice as the floor in the baby's room.

Again - a million thank-yous to everyone for helping us!! 5 weeks and counting until baby comes :)
