Christmas

Christmas at Mom and Dad's was a lot of fun this year. Little man started to understand opening presents. He's not particular about ripping the paper....but he does have to have every little bit off the box. (he is for sure the son of two architects). We left cookies and carrots out for Santa and Rudolph. And woke up Grandma and Grandpa early Christmas morning. This must run in the family as well, because Wes proceeded to call his family and wake all of them up as well. :)

Aiden got lots of gifts: cool clothes, lots of Disney Cars gear, a carhart jacket, a wooden train set....but he was struck speechless when he saw his last gift. The picture on the box he got excited about and let us all know that it was a tractor.

But when he saw the real thing....the look he gave Grandpa was priceless. He just kept looking at the tractor and then looking at Grandpa in absolute disbelief. He spent a good part of the rest of the day practicing getting on and off his tractor, playing with the hitch pin, and pointing out the John Deere logo. The pedals are still a distance away from his feet...may-be we'll be tall enough this summer. The day got even better when Grandma Steadman, Uncle Doug and Aunt Carol traveled across the state to have Christmas dinner with us and hang out. It was a wonderful Christmas and it's not even over...we still have more memories to create in LeMars!!
