Goings On:

During my blogging absence there hasn't been a whole lot going on. We've been a bit of a sick crew lately: first Aiden with a few sniffles, followed by a full dose of the yick in my direction...and now Wes has been doing battle this past week. In spite of all these germs we did make it to our haircut Tuesday night. This was Aiden's second time and he didn't like it one bit!! Everytime a piece of hair fell in front of him he freaked out and started with a fresh bunch of tears. Trish was experienced and has kids of her own though...and worked quickly. His cut looks much the same except the mop in front is no longer in his eyes (I'll take photos when I get the camera). :)

Last night we hit the mother load at the Sharpless auction. A craft store went out of business. Need I say more. :) $40 filled the back of our car with fabric, ribbon, boxes and oh so many more treasures.

Most mornings Aiden and I try to get out for a walk at around 9:00. 3.5 miles in the direction of Lisbon, I clocked it with the trailblazer yesterday!! It would be ideal if I made it out about four times a week....it usually ends up being more like two and once in a while three. This morning Miss Mabel gave me the most pleading of looks before our walk, and so I gave in and hooked her up. She was a very good girl, even when walking by several people...one lady with two dogs. Of course she had her scarey collar on, but I didn't really have to use it. So today's adventure got me over my assumption that walking a boxer and pushing a stroller at the same time might be too much. Mabel was oh so happy!!

I suppose we all have a bit of 'lazy' in us from time to time. Since Corrinn and Ankur's reception in Michigan (has it been 2 weeks ago??) I have been meaning to dig through Wes' suit jacket for the camera. I think I've talked about it a hand-full of times...but do you think I have done it yet? The answer is obviously NO. But I do have a few of Mom's photos from last friday. In particular a nice long video of our little man on the yet unfinished back porch. Enjoy!!
