The Rough Side

The boys did great again yesterday, getting the whole south side of the house cleared of old shingles. The south side of the house (over the kitchen and main living room) is the oldest, and you can see in the first picture that the boards are an old rough cut. The trim all along the edge of that side was rotton and will have to be replaced today too. The trim will mostly be under the new gutter so it won't matter if it doesn't match exactly. So, all that said, today looks to be a slow progress day with shimming to try to make it look flat, and fixing the trim board.
