Cooking Class

Mom and I took a cooking class "Summer Salads" at Prarie Table, downtown Iowa City. Corrinn, do you recognize who we're with? :) It's "Kathy Habley from across the street!!" When Corrinn and I were of babysitting age Kathy had two kids whom were just horrible to babysit...the little boy actually had to be on medication for his extra energy. About once a month we would get a call and the voice was instantly recognizable, "Hi...this is Kathy Habley from across the street." Corrinn and I would dread this phone call and woah to the sister who picked up the phone....because there was just no saying no. :) Anyway...she taught our class last night and we got to sample 4 really good salads....and had a fun time just hanging out together. As we left the class Mom and I had to giggle because one of Kathy's fresh lemons somehow flew out of her hands, bounced onto the floor and behind the counter. And then another time somehow a Tbsp of mayonaise flew out of her dish and plopped onto the counter. He he he....only Kathy Habley. :)
