When the electricity was out Saturday afternoon / night - this was our bunker. The generator was working outside providing power to two little space heaters and a light. Aiden camped out in his travel crib by the tub and Wes, Mabel and I were on the floor. The bathroom stayed warm, but the rest of the house got down to somewhere around 60 degrees. Sunday we headed down to Grandma and Grandpa's house to hang out until the electricity came back up that afternoon.
Sunday evening Wes and I got our new microwave installed. The old one was on the blink.....the new one rocks!!! It's above the stove and gives me a ton of room on my counter now!!! Love my new microwave, la....la....la!!!
....and last but not least this is what the fire place looked like when I got home from Colorado on Monday. Dry wall was finished and first coat of primer on. It looks beautiful!!!
